Pricing and VAT
All prices are shown in EUR. VAT is charged at the applicable Portuguese rate and added to all services unless otherwise stated. Services commence once payment has been received in full.
Sibling Discount
A sibling discount of 25% applies where multiple children from the same family receive the same service.
The discount applies to profiling, shortlisting, and application services only and does not apply to consultations, reports, aftercare services, or third party costs.
Scope of Services
Alesco provides independent education consultancy services. Our role is advisory, research based, and administrative.
- Advice and Guidance and Reports are factual and explanatory and do not include recommendations or endorsements.
- Profiling and Shortlisting provide tailored selections based on information shared by the client and publicly available provider information.
- Application and Enrolment Support covers coordination, correspondence, and submission but does not guarantee acceptance or placement.
- Packages include only the services expressly listed. Any work outside the agreed scope is quoted and agreed separately.
Alesco does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, diagnosis, therapy, or formal assessments.
Authorisation to Act
By engaging Alesco’s services, clients authorise Alesco to liaise with schools, universities, and education providers on their behalf for the purposes of delivering the agreed services.
Refunds and Cancellations
Where applicable, refunds are calculated on a prorated basis according to the services delivered up to the date of cancellation, taking into account work already completed and costs incurred.
Intellectual Property
All reports, documents, summaries, and materials produced by Alesco remain the intellectual property of Alesco and are provided for the client’s personal use only. They may not be shared, published, or reused without written permission.
Third Party Providers
Schools, universities, tutors, and other providers operate independently. Alesco is not responsible for their decisions, availability, fees, or changes to admissions criteria.
Accuracy of Information
Information is based on published or verifiable sources available at the time of delivery. Education systems, admissions requirements, and provider policies may change without notice.
Data Protection and Communication
Personal data is processed solely for the purposes of service delivery and administration, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Email communication is accepted as a valid form of correspondence unless otherwise agreed.

Governing Law
Services are governed by Portuguese law.
